두 가지 숫자 체계

Korean has two number sets. Native (hana, dul, set) counts things, ages and hours; Sino (il, i, sam) does money, minutes and numbers. One sentence often uses both.

  • 한 개, 두 개, 세 개

    han gae, du gae, se gae

    one, two, three items

  • 삼천 원 / 만 원

    samcheon won / man won

    3,000 won / 10,000 won
